Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information VibrantEye ("we", "us") collects when you use the VibrantEye mobile application and related services (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your email address and, depending on the provider, your name and avatar. You choose a display name that is shown to other players.

Photos you capture. The core of the game is photographing objects. When you submit a shot, the photo is uploaded to our servers and processed automatically to detect the object and extract its dominant color. Photos may be shown to other players where the game requires it (for example leaderboard thumbnails and Hall of Fame entries).

Gameplay data. Your daily scores, match percentages, streaks, discovered colors, rarity multipliers, and leaderboard positions.

Technical data. Basic device and diagnostic information needed to run and secure the Service (such as app version, device model, and crash logs).

We do not collect your precise location or your contacts. Game submissions are captured with the camera; profile photos may be chosen from your device photo library. The Service does not show third-party advertising.

2. How we use information

  • To operate the game: score your shots, maintain your catalog, and rank leaderboards.
  • To display your public profile (display name, scores, and winning shots) to other players.
  • To keep the Service safe: prevent cheating, abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • To fix bugs and improve the app.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Where your data lives

The Service is built on Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions). Your data is stored and processed on Google Cloud infrastructure, and our image-analysis service processes photos solely to compute color matches. These providers act as data processors on our behalf; their handling of data is governed by their own security and privacy commitments.

4. What other players can see

  • Your display name and avatar.
  • Your scores, ranks, streaks, and discovered-color stats.
  • Shots you submit that appear on leaderboards or in the Hall of Fame.

Your email address is never shown to other players.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data and gameplay history for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted as described on the Account Deletion page. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics (such as global daily averages) may be retained.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise deletion directly in the app (see Account Deletion); for anything else, email us at support@nirbyte.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age of digital consent). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is restricted, and photos are processed by automated systems rather than reviewed by people, except where necessary for abuse investigations you trigger (for example a report of an inappropriate image).

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, announced in the app.
